The next MCVC (Military Community Veterans Centre) ‘Drop In’ Centre will be held on Friday 5th February 2016 at VAR (Voluntary Action Rotherham), The Spectrum, Coke Hill, Rotherham S60 2HX (10am – midday). This week we have the pleasure of one of our regulars, Mr Geoff Smales who will be delivering a short presentation on the subject of ‘Steel and WW1’, a subject which is apt for the area of Rotherham & Sheffield and follows on nicely from the opening of the new exhibition ‘Steelos Gallery’ at Magna Science Adventure Centre the day previous (Thursday 4th February). Anyone from the military community (serving, ex service, dependents etc.) and supporting agencies are more than welcome to attend. Banter, sandbags, bollards, tea, coffee, biscuits and a good time available. See you there.
