The MCVC were honoured to welcome Mr Tony Clabby (Chief Executive Officer) Healthwatch Rotherham to its Friday ‘Drop In’ meeting at Silverwood Miners Welfare & Resource Centre on 21st July 2017. During his time with us Tony took time to chat with our veterans as well as taking to the stage to provide us with an overview of his organisation ‘Healthwatch Rotherham’ and present two awards, each consisting of a framed Certificate, a bottle of Champagne, a Bouquet of Flowers and a copy of the Citation, to some deserving members of the MCVC.
The first presentation was to Hilda Jack (Volunteer of the Month) in Grateful Recognition for her Dedication and Support towards the MCVC and the second, the first joint award in this category (Certificate of Appreciation) to Mark Granger and Sharon Lee ‘In recognition of their continuing contribution and support towards the MCVC, the Breakfast Club, its Outreach Service and for their ongoing commitment in helping to raise awareness of the services provided for South Yorkshire’s Military Community.
Our grateful thanks go to Tony Clabby, Hilda Jack, Mark Granger and Sharon Lee (who unfortunately couldn’t be with us due to work commitments) for making the ‘Drop In’ a memorable occasion.
