We need to say a few thank you’s after attending the Rotherham United versus Blackburn Rovers match yesterday with the MCVC Trailer. Firstly to RUFC for kindly allowing us to attend with the trailer, it was a great success, not only did we meet and have a CHUCKLE with the supporters but more importantly we also made quite a few veterans aware of the support and comradeship available at the MCVC Drop In and Breakfast Club.
Paul Chuckle and the MCVC veterans, yes Chris it really is Paul Chuckle!
Secondly to John Lloyd (Centre) of the Doncaster REME Association who used his vehicle to transport the trailer to the stadium. John remained with us and helped throughout the day, his highlight though was meeting Paul Chuckle.
Finally to Keith, his RUFC friend and all the MVCV veterans who once again turned out in a large number to support the event and promote the MCVC to their fellow veterans, a great day and well done to all.
