I am pleased to inform you that at the Armed Forces Covenant signing at the Town Hall, the Assistant Chief Executive announced we had been successful in being awarded a grant from the MoD for just over £100k. This is magnificent and very welcome news. Later this evening I will be writing to the Lord Lieutenant, Andrew Coombe to thank him for all of his hard work backing this bid.
Next week I will circulate the details of our bid and what we said we would do with it. After which I will be drawing on your expertise to shape the strategic vision needed to ensure we provide the support, advice and guidance to the exec team to ensure we get the maximum benefit from this significant award.
