After all the previous months of planning and preparing, the Veteran’s Outreach Connection vehicle successfully attended its first event. This was at the Tour de Yorkshire event in Bentley, Doncaster. The purpose was to support DMBC and their aims of engaging with veterans and their families who attended, the weather was mainly rain showers with the sun bursting out for a few minutes once in a while. This did not deter the DMBC team and Bill Carroll from chatting to as many people as possible and explaining the reason for the vehicle attending and the support available for veterans.
A great first day and here’s to many more in the future!
