Mesothelioma research
The aim of Virginia’s research study is to interview carers about their experience of the psychological effects of mesothelioma on themselves and on patients. [It’s the carer’s unique perspective being researched for the first time.
So far, I have been able to interview remotely several participants, and now I am keen to find the last few so I can complete my project. My interviews have already led to evidence being submitted to a Parliamentary Select Committee on female veterans, so this type of health research can have a practical impact.
The more veterans and families who know about the study the better, so I would really appreciate any help you can give with spreading the word.
