These Breaks are for persons (Veterans) with any disability of sorts, also have mental problems (PTSD) or anybody in the family of the service personnel who has got any of the same issues can go on these breaks.
‘Full board Plus’ Weekends at £99!
Have you ever wanted to stay at the Lake District Calvert Trust but not necessarily take part in a full schedule of activities, or just want to use our fully accessible accommodation as a base to explore the Lake District?
To make sure that our facilities are used to the maximum, were we have spare weekend capacity we opening up the centre to residents on a ‘Full Boar Plus’ basis. The £99 per person price includes:
- 2 nights accommodation in our accessible en-suite rooms
- All catering from the evening meal on arrival to breakfast on departure
- Evening use of our hydrotherapy pool, sensory room and games room
If you’d also like a taste of what our fl activities programme is like, we can offer a small selection of optional ‘light’ activities such as Lakeland Walk / Wheelchair Push And archery, at no extra cost.
Availability is limited to dates between larger groups and our current 2018 ‘Full Board Plus’ weekends are listed below:
- Saturday 7 – Monday 9 April
- Saturday 19 – Monday 21 May
- Saturday 30 June – Monday 2 July
- Saturday 18 – Monday 20 August
- Saturday1 – Monday September

Please note, we do not supply care support / respite care and under 18’s must be accompanied by a competent adult. Parties can be a minimum of 1 with maximum numbers per booking dependent on availability and one member of each booking must have a disability to meet the charitable goals of the Calvert Trust.
