This week has seen a busy but satisfying week of support to the counties engagements by the Outreach Vehicle and Volunteers. An extremely interesting and informative conference at York St Johns University on Wednesday saw much interest from those outside the county making enquiries for bookings including the Sunderland Air Show and Essex.
A sunny Saturday saw Bill, Keith, Judith and Dennis in Sheffield at the Armed Forces Day supporting Sheffield City Council in promoting the Armed Forces Covenant to their veterans, many thanks to Paul Taylor for allowing us to also spread the MCVC word.
Sunday gave us the opportunity to join the REME Association Doncaster & District Branch at Ashworth Barracks in Doncaster in a joint recruiting event, a big well done to Andy, Bill and Colin the volunteers that gave up their free time to support the event.
