Bill Speakman VC was awarded the Victoria Cross for bravery in the Korean War in 1951 and he was the first VC invested by Queen Elizabeth II.
The Royal British Legion helped him move from Manchester to Cornwall, and also provided a Poppy Break at Byng House in Southport.
