WW1 Personal Memories & Reflections of Old Rotherham

This MCVC and Heritage Lottery Fund event will take a look at how the role of women supported the war effort. Many projects in this centenary year have reminded us of the trenches and the terrible conditions in which WW1 was fought. This project looks at the support women gave to the war effort, their changing roles in the workplace, and reminds us of the changes in society between then and now.

This project has been undertaken by students of Wingfield Academy & RCAT. Music will be provided by the South Yorkshire Police Band. After the performance there is a free buffet! Booking details to follow!
