- Join The Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Cllr Anne Murphy, Sheffield Armed Forces and Veterans to celebrate Armed Forces Day with a series of activities in the city centre.
From 11.30am to 4pm
Watch the Veterans parade and ceremony: 11.30am – 12 noon
Dance up a storm in the Peace Gardens with the ‘Ashby Big Band’: 12.30-1.30 and 2.05-3.10pm
Derek Herbert brings an extra dimension to this years event, with the witty, amiable and larger-than-life presence of Winstone Churchill 1.40 – 2pm
Derek Herbert as George Formby will take you on a nostalgic journey of song, laughter and entertainment 3.15 – 4pm
Visit the cadets and armed forces displays on Fargate between 11.00am and 4.00pm
