ROTHERHAM MCVC ‘DROP IN’ EVERY FRIDAY AT SILVERWOOD MINERS CLUB – DONCASTER ROAD

Are you a serving or ex service member of the armed forces? Are you a dependent of someone that is serving or has served in the armed forces? Do you work for an organisation that supports or has links with the armed forces?

If the answer is yes to any of the above and you have a couple of hours to spare on a Friday morning then why not come along and meet with like-minded colleagues in a relaxed setting at the MCVC ‘Drop In’ Centre in Rotherham, with free tea, coffee and biscuits?

You can find us on Friday ‘27th Oct 2017’ at ‘Silverwood Miners Club, Doncaster Road, Rotherham S65 3ET (10am – midday). Access to the club is via the car park to the rear of the club where there is plenty of free parking, and for those travelling by bus the bus stop is right outside the club. Anyone from the military community (serving, ex service, dependents) and supporting agencies are more than welcome to attend. Banter, sandbags, bollards, refreshments and a good time available

Rotherham United Community Sports Trust (RUCST) have been awarded funding via the Armed Forces Covenant to build links between the military and wider community via a range of activities and events that create opportunities for people to meet and interact.  On Friday 27th October 2017  representatives from RUCST will be attending the ‘Drop In’ to speak to the troops about the project which will be delivered over the next 12 months.

From what Mac2 has seen and the briefing he has attended, he anticipates that this is going to be good and will be of great interest to the military community that we support.
