Rotherham Armed Forces Day – Saturday 24th June 2017

Armed Forces Day (formerly Veteran’s Day) in the United Kingdom is an annual event celebrated in late June to commemorate the service of men and women in the British Armed Forces.  It is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets.

Now you have a very good reason to come into Rotherham Town Centre on Saturday 24th June 2017.  Come and watch the parade, enjoy the displays and have fun visiting the many stalls and activities laid on to make this Rotherham’s best Armed Forces Day to date (The poster below says it all).

Members of Rotherham’s veteran community wishing to take part in the parade are required to be at Rotherham Town Hall ready to form up at 10.15am and step off at approx 10.30am.

Don’t forget to pop in and say hello to the veteran’s manning the MCVC Outreach Trailer, which will be located outside B&M.
