MCVC WELCOMES GUESTS TO WEEKLY ‘DROP IN’ AT SILVERWOOD MINERS CLUB, DONCASTER ROAD

Are you a serving or ex service member of the armed forces? Are you a dependent of someone that is serving or has served in the armed forces? Do you work for an organisation that supports or has links with the armed forces?

If the answer is yes to any of the above and you have a couple of hours to spare on Friday morning then why not come along and meet with like-minded colleagues in a relaxed setting at the MCVC ‘Drop In’ Centre in Rotherham, with free tea, coffee and biscuits?

You can find us this coming Friday ‘16th June 2017’ at ‘Silverwood Miners Club, Doncaster Road, Rotherham S65 3ET (10am – midday) where we have great pleasure in welcoming two guests to our meeting (1)  ‘Barbara Kempfs from Leeds University, External Liaison Officer – Lifelong Learning Centre, who will be coming to speak to the group about the myths and reality of Higher Education and (2) Dr Katherine Albertson from Sheffield Halam University who is leading the research as part of the South Yorkshire Armed Forces Covenant Project and wishes to outline the intentions of the project to the group.  All in all this is going to be a very informative and interesting ‘Drop In’ meeting, so why not come and join us.  Access to the club is via the car park to the rear of the club where there is plenty of free parking, and for those travelling by bus the bus stop is right outside the club. Anyone from the military community (serving, ex service, dependents) and supporting agencies are more than welcome to attend. Banter, sandbags, bollards, refreshments and a good time available.

See you there!
