Our Chairman has been in contact with the Brentwood Hotel re an MCVC Steak Night for the MCVC and they are more than happy to accommodate our veterans. The proposed date is Tuesday 19th April at 6.30pm (ish), plus choose from the grill / steak menu and get a drink for £1.00 (select drinks only). We have negotiated an exclusive area within the hotel, plus a 10% discount thus far, but it is hoping to improve upon this. Drop in group will try and establish numbers interested, as this may help to improve upon the discount package we get. A copy of the menu will be at the ‘Drop In’ which will allow those wishing to attend to see what is on offer. Depending on numbers and to benefit from the discount we may have to pay for our food (only) via one bill, which if this is the case we will be asking diners to make their selection and pay upfront before the 19th April (probably by 15th April), but we can discuss nearer the time. Upside is that the reviews on their steak deals are excellent, as are portion sizes! This will be a great opportunity for the wider Rotherham ex-service community and their supporters to get together; so working, retired or somewhere in between it would be great to count on your support – come and join us!
