MCVC COACH TRIP TO THE NATIONAL MEMORIAL ARBORETUM

You may or may not be aware that the MCVC has oraganised a coach trip to the National Memorial Arboretum for Wednesday 25th October 2017, departing at 8.30am from Silverwood Miners Welfare Club, Doncaster Road, Dalton, Rotherham S65 3ET with the return journey departing from the Arboretum at 4pm.

Please be aware that places are limited and will be allocated on a strictly first come first served basis. If you have never been to the Arboretum you really don’t know what you have been missing. The site features over 300 thought-provoking memorials, each with a story to tell and fascinating symbolism to discover and on the day of our visit there will be a service of Remembrance, featuring reflections on World War I, tributes to WWII and act of Remembrance plus a wreath laying ceremony at the Gibralter Memorial.
