Pete to introduce himself and announce the Unveiling of the Plaque by:

Introduce the Vicar.  Herself an ex-Soldier.

The Vicar Rev. Lynn Broadhead to bless the Plaque and the Soldiers on it.

Introduce the Whistle

The over the top whistle Blown by Andy Merris of the RAF Association.


The “Last Post” by Sgt. Paul Myers on the Bugle left behind in

England by Sgt. Colin Wofinden after being wounded, on his return back

to duty he was killed in Action.


The Placing of Wreaths by:

Peter Sanderson. Grandson of James Sanderson one of the fallen.

Lt Col Jason Ainley, Royal Engineers.

Hymn by Thorpe Hesley Brass Band “Eventide”  – Abide with Me.
