NHS Careers Information Day – 24th March 2016

For service leavers / veterans interested in a career in the NHS, please see attached leaflet  and information below regarding an NHS Careers Information day being held on Thursday 24th March 2016 (9.30am – 2pm) at the Rivermead Training Centre, Northern General Hospital, Herries Road, Sheffield, S5 7AU.  This event is aimed specifically at Armed Forces service leavers and veterans interested in a future / new career within the NHS.

The event is part of the Step into Health programme which the NHS is currently participating in alongside Walking with the Wounded and the Royal Foundation and is founded on the commitment of the NHS to acknowledge both the contribution of the armed forces community and their transferable skills.

The final agenda for the day will include:

§ An introduction to the NHS, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and the Step into Health programme (inc. success stories from other service leavers).

§ An opportunity to meet service leavers / reservists currently working for us, and hear about their transition into NHS employment.

§ An opportunity to meet our management teams from various departments and discuss employment opportunities with us.

Full details of the event, will be sent out by email to all those confirming attendance.
